Patient Relationship Management


As a means to provide value provided directly with the patient, the Patient Relationship Management (PRM) system extended beyond traditional communication media.


The PRM solution integrated with the standard functionality of an EMR by surrounding the MPI with a complete understanding of what the patient needs to know and what the organization wants to communicate.


Seven PRM channels provide for a holistic and complete construct;

 

  1. Advance patient registration – At home or in the waiting room
  2. Appointment management – Outbound reminders of upcoming scheduled visits
  3. Educational materials – Information and instructive assets available to the patient or support members
  4. Prescription follow-up – Pharmacy usage tracking and refill alerts
  5. Laboratory and Imaging results integration – Results, trending, and thresholds communications
  6. Referral management – Tracking specialist use and complete care road mapping
  7. Financial management solutions – Visit bills, Statements, payment options, and insurance information


The PRM works collaboratively with the Patient Portal solution as a proactive communications tool.


Leveraging all technology platforms, the PRM provides for current and future media providing customizable profiles in the hands of the patient.  The patient can add in a list of care givers and interested parties to the communications stream.


The enterprise EMR is allowed to concentrate on its core functionality while the PRM interacts with the patient at many levels.
